If there was one car to remain a symbol of the French automobile production, it is the Citroën 2CV. During its 42-year career, more than 4 million 2 CV and derivate were produced.
We are presenting you with an excellent opportunity to purchase a clean unit of this legendary automobile. An excellent choice to start a car collection, the Citroën 2CV represents a safe investment, with a value increasing through the years and which can be enjoyed for a very moderate cost.
This 1983 2CV 6 Charlestion is equipped with the flat-twin cylinder 602cc engine which develops 29 bhp. Never restored, we imported it in excellent original condition from Italy a few months ago. It had been delivered new there and remains there until we purchased it. The mechanical condition was near perfect but it needed some cosmetic care. The interior was stained so we replaced the complete upholstery. Our mechanic also replaced the exhaust, the tires and battery.
The paint was all original except for one badly repainted front fender. We had all four redone while the rest of the paint remains original. The burgundy is well preserved except for the beautiful patina of the trunk lid, a charming witness of the past. The frame is straight and perfectly aligned below the body, a proof of a solid chassis since they tend to bend over the years.
This 1983 2CV 6 Charleston is immediately available in France with its Italian registration.

At some point in their history, each automotive brand has known a deep crisis leading to the birth of a modern model to make sure it would survive. In 1933, Citroën is in an extremely difficult financial situation. Its cars are getting old and even though they benefited from the latest technological novelties, Citroën desperately needs a new model.
Starting with a few simple guidelines – a top speed of 100km/h, a gas mileage of less than 10l per 100km, unibody construction, front-wheel drive and automatic gearbox – Citroën creates a car which turned out to be one of the most revolutionary vehicles: the Traction Avant. Within a few weeks, three prototypes are assembled; the car is reliable, except for the gearbox, quickly replaced by a manual unit.
In 1934, the Traction Avant 7 is released. Very soon, several different variants will appear, all available as a sedan, a convertible and a “faux-cabriolet”, which is a coupe. In 1938, the top of range 15-6 appears, but is only offered in sedan. Equipped with a 2.9-liter, 6-cylinder engine good for 77 hp, only 2,500 15/6 are produced before the start of the Second World War, and production stops.
When production is resumed in 1946, Citroën discontinues the convertible and coupe versions of the 4-cylinder Traction Avants. As for the 15-6, it is only available in black until 1952. When the production of the 15/6 finally ceases in 1954, 50.000 units have been built, a very small number when compared to the 760.000 Traction Avant produced.
Unlike the 4-cylinder Tractions, the 15/6 convertible was never produced. Legend has it that 6 shells were built before the war for the Michelin family, of which only 3 were produced as complete cars by the Citroën factory. A large number of replicas, whether good or bad, exist today.

The Traction Avant 15/6 Cabriolet we are happy to offer for sale is without question one of the most beautiful conversions ever built. Built upon the shell of an authentic 1939 Traction 15-6 G, the famous coachbuilder Lecoq created a beautiful convertible of exceptional quality. Built in the 1970s, the history is fully known since.
This splendid Citroën Traction Avant 15-6 built by Lecoq is immediately available in France with its French registration.

Chevrolet Corvette V8 283 - 4.6L

For the past 50 years, the name Corvette has been associated with Chevrolet’s top of the line sports car. 6 generations and more than 1.5 million Corvettes later, the dynasty is still alive with the current Corvette, the C6, a fierce sports car.
Yet in the beginning, the C1 was a simple roadster. The standard engine was the Blue Flame inline 6 and was more a cruising car than a real performer. The C2 took the sports car image, with engine powers ranging from 250 hp to 435 “official” hp on the 1967 Tri-Power V8.
The Corvette we are offering for sale today is one of the third evolution of the C1 generation, and probably the C1’s most famous 4 headlights design. This specific design, sold 1958-1960, saw numerous upgrades from the previous versions. Some more symbolic than others, such as the factory-installed seatbelts (they previously were dealer-installed), a new interior design and the presence of a glove compartment.
The Corvette we are happy to offer for sale today is a very clean example of a 1959 model. This Tuxedo Black car is one of 9,670 Corvette produced this year and one of 1,594 cars chosen in this color. Equipped with the standard 283ci V8 engine good for 230 hp, this particular Corvette received with the optional 4-speed manual transmission.
An older restoration, this Corvette has only been driven 17,000 miles since it was completed, and only 92,000 miles since it exited the St. Louis factory. Since we purchased the car, we decided to undertake extensive work to bring it to concourse level. The paint is brand new, so is most of the interior (carpets, door panels), most of the chrome parts and the soft top. The engine was fully serviced and works faultlessly.
It is available in France with its Spanish registration.

Superb 1928 Cadillac LaSalle double Phaeton. The vehicle was restored some time ago and is in perfect cosmetic and running condition. The bodywork in red with Bordeaux cowls is magnificent, the soft top in sandy Alpaca with a chromed frame and varnished wood. The upholstery is in black leather. The vehicle prior to being imported to Europe was the "Best of show". Its eight cylinder engine is very smooth and is powerful enough to forget the vehicle’s overall weight.

Mileage: 1 500 km (932 ml)
Chassis N.: 7E6015162

This Buick Roadmaster is probably the most beautiful Buick in the whole Europe! Acquired by the current owner from the Blackhawk museum, San Francisco in 1990. The car has undergone years of uncompromising restoration. The car was entirely restored by the team ATS in France at a total cost of 210,000 EUR. The upholstery in particular attests to the quality of this restoration; it is truly exceptional and the leather used is conform with the original Fisher Body Number Plate (cost ca. 20,000 EUR). The car is all matching numbers and original. Original Flight Pitch Dynaflow transmission. Starts with just a pressure on the accelerator pedal, perfectly working Wonderbar radio. This example is equipped with all the options and even the air conditioning works very well. A true collector’s piece.

In the early 1930s, the Bugatti Type 35, the dominant force in Grand Prix racing since 1924, is already starting to become old, obsolete and is no longer competitive against the new generation of Grand Prix racers. In dire need of a replacement, Ettore Bugatti presents in 1931 the all-new Grand Prix Bugatti, the Type 51.
Even though the two cars look very much alike, they are fundamentally different in terms of engineering. The new 2300cc straight 8 engine with double overhead camshaft of the Type 51 racer developed a strong 160 bhp when the most powerful Type 35, the T35B, could only crank out 140 bhp thanks to the use of a supercharger.
The fate of the Type 51 in Grand Prix racing wasn’t up to par with the expectations of its creators. With the competition of Government-backed Italian and German brands, the Type 51 never managed to shine like its predecessor. With a single win in its career at the 1931 French Grand Prix, it ended the line of pre-war Bugatti racers.
With approximately 40 units built, the Bugatti Type 51 is rare and exceptional.
We are happy to offer for sale this beautiful Argentinian recreation of this pre-war racer.
