This 1983 2CV 6 Charlestion is equipped with the flat-twin cylinder 602cc engine which develops 29 bhp. Never restored, we imported it in excellent original condition from Italy a few months ago. It had been delivered new there and remains there until we purchased it. The mechanical condition was near perfect but it needed some cosmetic care. The interior was stained so we replaced the complete upholstery. Our mechanic also replaced the exhaust, the tires and battery.
The paint was all original except for one badly repainted front fender. We had all four redone while the rest of the paint remains original. The burgundy is well preserved except for the beautiful patina of the trunk lid, a charming witness of the past. The frame is straight and perfectly aligned below the body, a proof of a solid chassis since they tend to bend over the years.
This 1983 2CV 6 Charleston is immediately available in France with its Italian registration.
